I am a crystalline blue
Resting on the emerald glow
I eb and flow in radial currents
No one knows where I begin
I have no waterfalls
And at the edge of yourself you will always find me
Underneath me is a limitless sky
And above me roams the cosmos
The seafarer dipped his cupped hand in my shores
A microcosm abiding, pulsating in his palm
Sprinkle me anywhere
For I will always return here
From the Author
I’ve gotta come clean to you, reader.
Most of my poetry is born from sadness and frustration. I live in a mental world of “as it should be” and that inevitably creates tension between me and the world “as it is.”
I get sad and frustrated at my own work sometimes. When that happens, I try to write something beautiful.
This is a poem about Enoch.
