Two leaves come to rest on the surface of a pond
The water is striated by intersecting ripples
One leaf is shrivelled and brown
The other, unripe green
But the ripples they make are identical in breadth
The surface tension reverberating
As a plucked string

I've been writing poetry since I was little. These poems have always been my means of resolving the world as it is against the world as it should be. Writing has been my great catharsis. I hope that you and I may be able to share in that.

Fascinating poetry here. I really loved these lines:
“The other, unripe green
But the ripples they make are identical in breadth
The surface tension reverberating”
I am immersed in your words. Very beautifully entwined imagery. ❤ ❤
