No post this week! Instead, I want to leave you with a resource called…
I’ve been watching the world like you have these past few days. I see the response ramping up. People who normally wouldn’t give a damn are starting to act.
But here’s the thing…
The movement knows that it wants police brutality expunged from society, but I’ve noticed scattered ideas and methodologies as to how we get there. I see a lack of a realistic, unifying goals.
Campaign zero seems to be a step forward in this regard. Not only does it showcase clear and realistic policy changes, but it tracks which cities/states have adopted said policies. For someone like me, who often assumes that little progress is ever made, it was important to have that moment of “hey, my state has actually adopted 2 out of these 8 life-saving policies. Time to work on the rest.”
Anyways. The site is a game-changing resource. At the very least I’d ask you to check it out. Help yourself create a clear and realistic vision of a future worth fighting for.
BIG thanks to my good friend Julia for joining in my existential crisis and finding the site.
Thank for the resource!
